World Fusion covers a lot of sonic territory, from tribal atmospherics to temple soundscapes, electric chanting, jazz, soul, hip-hop, funky grooves, spiritual house, secular trance, ethnic breaks, and everything in-between and sideways. I seek music that has a traditional background, musicians well-versed in deep rhythms. The tunes I play may contain samples, but it is not sample-based music. It does not sound or feel synthetic. The ancient musical cultures and instruments bridged with the mddern. My sets take you and me on a journey of exploration, unpredictable and fresh.
