MINDELIGHT/BLUE MD - LIVE (PHONOKOL RECORDS)

Mindelight started in Mexico in early 2003, when Dj Eclypso and LOCO© joined forces in the studio to combine their talent and produce what 3 years later would become their debut album “Light the Mind”. The combination of Javier being a professional sound engineer and Hernan as a very well trained musician, quickly had a great effect on the Mexican dance floors, taking Mindelight to perform at most of the Trance festivals that were happening in many different spots
all over Mexico. They became one of the favourite acts among the crowd due their charisma and vibe on stage, always making people dance and smile on the dance floor.
Before “Light the Mind”, Mindelight had already made a big impression on the Trance World by releasing tracks in many international compilations under labels like: TIP, AP-Records, Kinetik, GreenAnt and Phonokol, giving the Mexican Act an extra impulse by sharing track list space with some of the most acclaimed Trance musicians like Astral Projection, Logic Bomb, Eat Static, Deedrah, GMS, Bamboo Forest, Kruger & Coyle, Total Eclipse and Sesto Sento to name a few.
Mindelight brings a very original style of trance, blending funky, groovy, and blasting melodic sounds together with rock and fat beats. Tracks like "La Granja" that was licensed to TIP for the latest addition of the famous "Imagi:Nations" compilation by Raja Ram, who also included this track on his "Raja Ram: The Godfather", and “CQ”, selected by DJ Chicago for his compilation “Turbo Blast” confirm the talent of this Mexican trance producers.
The album is the culmination of a musical concept that Dj Eclypso and LOCO© have put together as nine tracks full of thrilling musical stories that blend into one single psychedelic journey.
After a very successful Mindelight tour around Japan in April 07, Dj Eclypso is back in Israel, currently selecting material for his new compilation coming out soon on Phonokol records, while LOCO© is in Melbourne working on his Blu°e)MD project, which already has a few releases on Australian compilations like “Futureshock” by Psypneumatix Recs, and “Angelic” by UP Records.
