:::: SCATTERBRAIN RETURNS :::: with fresh tracks, and favourites from his album -Infernal Angels- released on Digital Psionics, late 2003. It's on!! SpeakaHuggers & T-Quest join forces to bring you a delectable psylection by some of Sydney's finest, in a lush outdoor location sure to tweak the senses.. The confirmed venue is scenic private property, just two hours from Sydney. The neighbours on either side are up for a party too... so all up - 1700 acres to absorb the 22K sound. Eons of room to camp, so bring your friends and build a tent embassy, or pick your private spot anywhere on the property. We're building BIG bonfires and some smaller drum fires. There will be a BBQ running to keep the punters full & active. This venue is extremely easy to get to. Anybody worried about their car bottoming out can throw your worries away. Easy access & easy drive. There are also services very near by, in case you run out of anything. There is also a train station situated approx 3km from the party site, and mobile coverage at the site. You can catch the train and arrange a pickup to get to the party. The station in question is Marulan. We would love them to come, but the property has been baited with 1080 Fox bait. The bait is safe for humans to be around, as it is dug into the ground. Dogs however can smell this bait and dig it up. The bait contains Strychnine, which will cause it's death very quickly if the dog eats any (i.e. most likely before the party would even finish). So please organise for other care for your pets for the weekend, or if you do have to bring them, please try and keep a very close eye on them. We'd hate for anyone to lose their beloved pet. ************************************* CU THERE Update: Due to unforseen circumstances the local fire brigade won't be able to make it down to the party. We'll still be running a BBQ though, and will still have fires to keep the bodies warm. Note: the pics are fairly large (average 800k to 1Mb). ~~SET TIMES FOR ULTRANOVA~~ 10pm - 12am - Stomp 12am - 2am - Psyber 2am - 4am - Atreyu + Megatron 4am - 6am - Shangri-La 6am - 8am - Scatterbrain 8am - 10am - HazMatt 10am - 12pm - Megatron + Atreyu 12pm - 2pm - Darkchild 2pm - 4pm - Galaktik DIRECTIONS for UltraNova: From Sydney: - Get onto the M5 South Motorway (towards Goulburn & Canberra). - When you reach the toll booth, reset your odometer to 0 km. - Continue along the highway until you reach the BP Service station (138km). - Slow down a bit here. - Approx 2 km further, there is a sign to “Marulan Sth, Bungonia” and “Bungonia State Recreation Area”. Turn left here. - Reset your odometer again. - Drive down this track until you see “Marulan Crk Rd” (1.6km). Turn left here. - Continue along this track until it appears to end. There is a gate of the left here which will be open. (3km) - Turn left through the open gate. - Slow down here and continue along until you reach the party…. * If you get to Goulburn on the Highway, you’ve gone too far…. Turn around and head back towards the BP. Look out for the turn-off (signed) to Marulan South. There will be markers along the last part of the journey, starting not far from the highway. Just follow the markers and you’ll get to the party. From Goulburn: We haven’t actually driven up from Goulburn so we don’t know the exact distances. However, it should be fairly easy to get to even so. - Drive towards Sydney up the M5. - After approx 25 – 30 km, there will be a sign to Marulan Sth and Bungonia State Recreation Area. Turn Right here. - Reset your odometer again. - Drive down this track until you see “Marulan Crk Rd” (1.6km). Turn left here. - Continue along this track until it appears to end. There is a gate of the left here which will be open. (3km) - Turn left through the open gate. - Slow down here and continue along until you reach the party…. * If you get to the BP Service station, you’ve gone about 2 km to far. Turn around and head back toward Goulburn. Look out for the turn-off (signed) to Marulan Sth as it is only about 2 km from the BP heading south. Can’t wait to see everyone there!! Remember to bring lots of warm clothes, beanies, gloves blankets and anything else to keep yourself warm. There will also be fires at the site to keep the warmth up.
